Help identifying this creature

Found this critter in my bio media today when doing routine maintenance. I am thinking it is some type amphipod but do they get this big?

Yep, that's an Amphipod alright.

Thanks AlSimmons - I have a huge Copepod population for my Mandarin and I believe at some point I added a mix of Amphipods and Copepods. I just have not seen any signs of them since!
