Help identifying what this is

A few days ago I started a thread in the Reef section. I would greatly appreciate it if any fellow clown owners could take a look at the thread and let me know if you have ever experienced something similar and if so, what is going on with my clown. Again, your help solving this mystery would be greatly appreciated.

You should post in the fish disease forum. I would guess a parasite of some type.

Thanks for resonding. I was hoping a fellow clown owner may have experienced this before and know what it is. The spot on the tail went away last night but came back again today in the same place. There hasnt been a large cauliflower spot but Im beginning to wonder if it could be viral.......lymphocystis?

It Definately looks like lymphocystis virus to me. It's tough to tell from the picture, but is the white spot raised from your clownfish's skin?

Yes its raised.

Yes its raised.

Then it's most likely lymphocystis. It should go away in a couple of weeks, if they are fead well and kept in a stress free environment.
