I have seen some really nice BTA's in my lfs and i wanted to buy one and now all i have is about 60w on my 40gal and i was wondering what best lighting would be. there is one for sale that has combined wattage of 156w would this be enough for an RBTA in a 40gal?
I'd avoid it until you upgrade that lighting. Investing in a new fixture will make your tank look a whole lot better and open many new options for livestock. Something with a single 150W MH would be sufficient.
