Mom went to the store today, and purchased a GBTA, Yes, its about time she took intrest in my hobby..It was more for the clowns than me..

Well, unnfortunately she purchased a severly bleached individual, with somewhat of a green tint, classic Bulbs, most likely makin it a GBTA, she said it costed her $10, bout the size of a Silver Dollar

I Acclimated him, and put him on a rock, closest to the light, He opened up and a few hours later i fed him about 6 mysis shrimp

Well it took him close to 30 min. to get them all in his mouth, and seems to be doing well, I think i actually fed him too much

He is in a 29, with 166w PC and T'5s
130w PC, 36w T-5

what else should i be doing to help him overcome his bleaching?
how often should i feed him?

With a reaction like that i don't think you should expect any help.

There are plenty of things online, put some effort in and do look things up.

agree with GSMguy. Feed every day and it will color up. You can feed as much as your tank can handle the bio-load.

lol don't feel bad about getting a bleached BTA, I feel like I have been rescuing bleached and hurt BTA lately. I have one I picked up a couple weeks ago that I still don't know what color its going to be. And another that is just starting to grow back all its tentacles (as odd as that sounds). Anywho agreed with everyone just keep feeding him, and soak it in some garlic. I make all our food. I go to the seafood counter at Walmart and get a mix of stuff, then I use the food processor and mix 1-2 heads of garlic, flake food, seafood, DT, and ChromaPlex. I just use the containers from our frozen food to put it in. The fish love it, and I figure if its quality of food that humans can eat they'll be fine for them too.
