I have another S.gigantea arriving tomorrow, and cant decide where to put it or what to swap around..
I have a tank that is set up identically to the other tanks that have successfully for a number of years. That tank houses a pair of spawning negripes .. No anemone. S. gigantea is not a natural host for negripes.
in another tank that is very similar I have a pair of faded onyx percula hosted by an H. mag. The only differences are the foot prints of the tanks, and the orientation of the surge tanks. Both mags and giganteas are natural hosts to percs.
I dont really want to move the fish but may consider..
Should I ;
1) put the new anemone in with the negripes, and hope for the un-natural pairing?
2) move the mag to the tank with the negripes and put the nw gigantea in the tank with the percs that is slightly different from my other gigantea tanks
3) swap the percs and negripes, leaving the mag where its at and putting the new gigantea in the "proven system"
Moving the anemone(s) shouldnt be hard, but I dunno how stressful.
moving the fish will likely be a PITA. I doubt that it would upset either of the spawning frequencies
Help me decide please
