Help me ID these please. Coral? Zoanthid? Valonia?...

I have pics of more things on a rock I recently picked up. I want to remove very little so I double check with the helpful members of this forum =)

#1 Looked like a devil's hand coral I saw on another member's tank.
#2 is strange. It is difficult to see in the photos but it looks like a zoanthid trapped under a spider web.
#3 I think this is Valonia.
#4 I couldn't find a reference for it.

Thanks for your help.

1. Foraminiferan harmless filter feeders
2. some type of sponge, again harmless
3. some form of bubble algae, maybe Dictyosphaeria ocellata needs to be removed
4. Gelidiopsis or Wire Algae, need to be removed.

Thanks Paintbug.

Is it safe to assume that I should remove all algae that is stringy? I have a small green "plant" that looks like it was ripped off the head of those plastic toy trolls. It grows straight up in a small patch.

heres a good algae ID site. it has alot of them and will tell you what if anything will eat it. http://www.saltcorner.com/sections/guest/algaepage/algaepage.htm

sounds like you have some green hair algae maybe Derbesia. i have had luck with my Astraea snails eating it. personally i dont like having patches of algae in my display. your going to have some algae growing, theres no way around it :D. but if i have a patch that gets large i will remove it. my herbivores keep most of it trimmed.
