help me pick a pump

I need a new (reliable) pump to run my skimmer. I've had terrible luck with this. I can't find a pump that performs & lasts longer than a year, at most. Maybe I'm asking too much?
I'm running an Excaliber in sump skimmer on my 75 gal tank.
give me some suggestions please.

I think the Sedra pumps that run the ASM skimmers are nice pumps. You may want to investigate that and see if it would work for your purposes.

my sedra with my asm is now 3+ years old.

my sedra with my asm g3 w recirc mod is around 3 years still going strong...

On a related note, I know it's a long-shot, but is anyone selling an ASM 2?
