Help! microbe lift artemiss treatment problem!

i have a juvenile orange shoulder tang in my reef tank. i bought microbe lift artemiss. it says reef safe! it seems it is not snail safe. i dosed 17mls yesterday in my tanks 330l and repeated dose today. it seems to paralyse snails. some turbo snails have died. my nassarius snails are lethargic and disoriented. i am producing some ro water right now so i can do a ten percent waterchange to lower the concentration. my one clam is kinda closed up too. i am so cross with this. why is it not specified on bottle!

I had to look this stuff up. It's another "herbal" remedy that claims to "reduce bacterial and fungal infections". Notice it doesn't say "treat" or "cure". I know some people who use the parasitic version, Herbtana. I think I've heard from them that you can do damage in a reef if you overdose it.

IMO, anytime you put some magic potion in a fully stocked reef tank you're just asking for trouble. I don't think they take the time to test & see how their product interacts with everything. After all, there's no FDA for fish meds.
