Help Needed! I may have fried my return pump

My return pump will not run. It is a little giant model 4-MDQX-SC. I gave it a vinegar bath and cleaned it up. I understand that there is a thermal overload? Do I just have to wait for it to cool off and then it will start?

IF anyone has a replacement external pump that has 1" fittings please let me know I may be very interested in buying it tomorrow. If you PM me let me know how early I can call you (i may be in a hurry to get the tank flow back!)

Thanks!
Ben

Update: I got the pump working again after a good cleaning!

I still wouldn't mind picking up a second return pump for emergencies if anyone has one that they are willing to part with!

Thanks
Ben

one thing many people don't realize is the fact that these LG pumps require regular oiling.

Place oil (I use the 3 in 1 brand) into the hole capped with a yellow plug in this picture. Some LG pumps have two holes to place oil.

(may I borrow this picture for future references?)

I use 3 in 1 brand SAE 20
