Help on radion xr15

Can anyone help me, i just realize that my G4 pro xr15's fan is not on and I touched the sides its very hot! How do I troubleshoot it is faulty or I am just too panic that i just switch them off to avoid overheating. I waited for a while but the light felt too hot for the fan not to be triggered yet. The fan can go out. Then, when it is hot enough, the light will go out. It seems to protect itself. Call Ecotech, they'll take care of it. There will even be a video to show you what to do.

Unfortunately there's not an easy fix unless you take it apart and start exploring, which will void you're warranty, keep it off and call ecotech, they will take care of you.

Noted.. i think i can safe enough to just let it on and monitor if it shutdown. Ecotech heat exchange is very efficient that i recall that the fan only run few minutes before it kick again after some time..

HANG ON. The 15 is different than the 30 in that the fan only runs periodically versus 24/7. I suppose it's always possible yours is defective, but I think it more likely that it is just fine. The sides of mine get quite hot, yet the fan rarely runs.

As others have mentioned, the Radion has high heat protection and will turn off the light if the temp gets too high. If the light is working, then the unit should be fine.

If the light shuts off, it's most likely a dead fan. Ecotech sells the replacement (or will send you one if it's under warranty.). It's really easy to replacement.

Thank God! Yes you are right!!!! Im so happy that i was just panicking.. what i did was let the led blast at 100% all channel and wait.. within 5minutes i was relieved.. im very impressed with radion heat sink..
