help picking a new 120 - Aqueon/AGA VS Perfecto

As part of putting in the new system, the wife would like the tank pushed back further against the wall than I can with the 120 I just bought (drilled in the back).

I'm looking at new tanks (4 foot 120 gallon). any thoughts on the Aqueon dual megaflow versus the Perfecto corner overflow?

Aqueon:
* anyone know the dimensions of the rear overflows - in the drawing they look giant, in the pictures they don't
* dual rear mega flow overflows.
* I _think_ there is a single 1" drain and 3/4 return in each one
* stand pipe is not included in base price

Perfecto:
I "heard" the corner overflow is 8.5"
* single overflow
* corner overflow (left side - which is the less desirable location for us)

I like the dual better, though I'm concerned about the size of the overflows taking up too much space. I realize cleaning the Aqueons would be harder.

any thoughts?

The all glass overflows are 10 x 5. All glass is nicer in my opinion but if price is a factor Perfecto is the way to go.

I like the small overflows also, we have a 120 ready to go with those overflows - problem is it is sticking out too far

I know where there is a 120 rimmless for sale .. very reasonably priced

If you will be able to see the tank from the side then the corner overflow will be visable. Other considerations are how you anticipate distributing you rock. The corner overflows should allow a nice center stack.

I have seen both and I actually prefer the corner overflows. It sure makes stacking the rocks easier and no wasted space.

I like the corners also, just not sold on perfecto tanks.

I keep hearing AGQ/Aqueon is nicer - though no-one has shown a difference between them, any thoughts?

I'm with Gary, but, of the two, I'd chose the corner vs the MEGA-BLOW! I hate those things. Check out Glass-holes.com. Sweet set up, a lot of URS people running them. ABC Reefs in Syr has them on almost ALL of their tanks.

Of concern to me, as I almost got stuck, is the glass thickness. Make sure you get what you want. Tough to undo everything once the tank is running. You want to be happy.

I'm pretty sure Perfecto will place the corner overflow on the RIGHT side if that's where you want it but you'll need to place the order in advance.

fwiw #2 I've never had a problem with Perfectos.
