In my tank I have a foxface, firefish and porcupine puffer. Foxface and firefish are healthy and puffer now has a lot spots on her fins..

I dont have a QT and nowhere to put my little baby. I am trying to dose with nosickfish.com ich meds. (havent removed canister filter media yet..will do tonight)

Feeding krill soaked in garlic.

Am I doomed or is there anything I can do to save her?

if you dont have too much in the tank you can pull it and leave the fish in there for QT... hypo is the best method IMO- you will need a refractometer for the hypo... ebay for $50-60
read up top... tons of info...

your not doomed, agree you need to put all the fish in hypo, how long have you dosed with that med, if it dosent work i would e-mail that place and tell them how you really feel, i told you you were playing with fire

I know the hypo is not possible with inverts. WHAT if I take out my few snails and return them, return my sand sifter sea star and do the hypowith the 3 fish still in the water?

Then I can possibly get rid of all that ich without going fallow.

What about the LR?

It has some worms and a couple of feather dusters. What can I do with them? Put them in a tub with new, fresh ro/di saltwater that does not have ich with a small pump?

Hmmm..wb as soon as you can.
:)

Try soaking some mysis or cyclopeeze or whatever they favor in garlic: it can't hurt them, and might help. Firefish might get ich, but they're pretty resistent to it. Foxface almost certainly will, but they rarely die of it. Your puffer is the most at risk, and if you can get garlic juice or even dried garlic down his gullet, it might help. There is also garlic-laced Formula One sinking pellets. It might help the medication. I'm distressed you haven't pulled the filter media yet: if there's carbon in there, it's busy removing the medication you just put in, so dosage becomes uncertain, and possibly non-existent. You may need to re-dose.

My bf knows all about the canister filter, how to undo it etc. We will take out the filter media tomorrow.

I am soaking everyone's food in Garlic Extreme.. Puffy seems to be doing well, just has the spots. Will get the other things you mentioned above.

Anyone have info on the hyposalinity? Im going to ask about it in another post to see what I should do in this emergency.

Moving that canister filter with its current media to a new quarantine tank would help immensely. This would give you a cycled biological filter which should minimize any potential ammonia problems.

Today I am going to do a PWC of 30 gallons, scrape the algae, clean the canister filter and remove all of the media (carbon and ceramics).

Dose twice daily with the nosickfish.com meds and see how that goes.

If I don't see an improvement in several days with Puffy then I will think about removing him to a QT and treating the display tank with hypo.

What do you think?
