help save my 2 year old 18" RBTA

I want my anemone to have bubble tips again, and to become bright pink again. Can you help?

I feed once per week a piece of krill about 2" long. Do I need to feed this guy something different?

Flow is about 400gph in a 75G tank (5.3X turnover, no powerheads, gentle return). Is this too low?

Lighting was 200 PAR at anemone T5, recently upgraded to a 250W DE MH at 350 PAR w/ older bulb. Will this help out or is it not necessary?

I have 2 clarkii clowns in my attached 240G SPS reef tank. I want to put them into the anemone tank, but they will not allow me to capture them. Should I go buy some percula clownfish and toss them in here?

I do occassionally see my yellow tang picking off tentacles. I am not positive if they are already dead or not? Perhaps a clown would help defend? like my vicious clarkii?

It looks to me like its the same size, it's just not expanding all the way. I have had some problems with GBTAs and RBTAs not getting along as well as I might like. Not like a full blown attack that you can immediately see but like a degredation of one or the toher or both over time.
You may need to move them to different locations in the tank.
As far as flow, I think it looks as though your system and its inhabitants are healthy and they have presumably been that way for 2 years now. The only thing I can tell that has changed is the GBTA.... Lighting might also be a consideration. Too high/too low.

I recently changed the lighting so I will observe that over the months.

not sure if I can stop the anemones from touching since the GBTA moves around frequently. I can remove it I suppose.

no comments on the lack of a clown fish or feedings? I know a lot of you feed silversides, but I just feed krill.

Anemones and clowns do not need each other to survive in your aquarium. That said, an anemone is like a free boneless steak dinner to a butterfly fish. I wouldn't worry too much about that. Any experience I had with keeping them separated is a little inconclusive. It's a long story but suffice it to say it wouldn't hurt to separate them to rule it out. If you changed your lights recently, I would rank that as my first suspision. You might try adding a few screens to allow them to acclimate to the new lights.
