I'm setting up a new 225gal aquarium, I currently have a 110gal bullet proof mixed with SPS, LPS, powder blue, two clowns, juvenile emperor, 3 rose bulb anemones, 150lbs of live rock, six inch sand bed, refugium, skimmer, calcium reactor, plenum, apex controller and was seeded with Sally Joe's reef grunge. It's been up and running for 10 months.
I moved the 110gal across my living room the day after Christmas, that's a whole different story, to make room for the new 225gal brick. They delivered
it the next day. I just finished making enough saltwater to fill it and the new sump up, Friday.
I purchased Dr. Tim's One and Only to seed the 225. I'm selling the 110gal, less the live rock, calcium reactor and controller. My question is should I just move the live rock and the fish add the Dr. Tim's and hope for the best?
Oh I have a 40 watt UV to control fish disease and I'm going to purchase 50 more lbs of live rock.
