I have had a Copperband in my reef tank for the last four month. he has been great and the star of my 55 gallon tank. He cleared all my aiptasia and very agressively ate both freeze dried mysis with selecon and Rods food. I would also suppliment seaweed and flakes for my other fish, but always made sure never to feed too much. In the last two days, he hasnt really been swimming and picking at my live rock as he had been doing and hangs mostly in the corner. He was still eating until today. All my other fish and coral are fine. What could be going on and what can i do?

It's hard to see but your copperband may have had ick. Thats what happened to mine and i never saw it untill it was too late:mad:

Cyanide poisoning may be another likely candidate. I've tried two CB that were doing great for many months, eating out of my hand frozen mysis and shrimp then stop eating out of the blue after a couple months, hover behind some live rock for about 24 hours and die the next day. Indo-pacific is where most are caught. I'm waiting for an Australian to come in as they have a rep of being more durable and caught without cyanide.
