I'm purchasing a mix of live rock types for my new 110g acrylic tank. I'm not sure how much of each type I would need since the density varies so much. Here's my choices:
Fiji Premium
Fiji Branch
Totoka Live Rock
Tonga Branch
Tonga Shelf
Marshall Island
Great Barrier Reef
Tonga Fusion
Tonga Kaelini
The Marshall Island and Great Barrier are pricey, so if I get any of those I'd probably get only like 5lbs. each. I can also get Marshall Island Base Rubble Rock for real cheap, so maybe I'll get some of that. The other rocks are all similar in price. My inclination is to go with Totoka, Tonga Fusion, and Tonga Kaelini for the diversity of life. But I would like to also have some branch and shelf rock for aquascaping and looks, I just haven't done this before so I don't know what a good ratio is. Can ayone help?
