I noticed that after feeding one pump did not restart, I unplugged and removed it from tank cleaned and inspected, reassembled and placed in bucket of water plugged in but still nothing, tested power supply getting 24.7 volts output, swapped power supply still nothing (working PH worked with either supply) QUESTION: is there a way to run a 6101 with out controller to see if the fault is the controller? what else can I try? thanks Reef

Yes simply unplug the midi cable that runs to the 7095 and the pump will run at what contant speed(voltage) jumper you have in the power supply.

OK so I removed the DIN cable and the pump still failed to run so I guess the pump itself is shot, so tommorow I will contact tunze and send it in for repair....never thought i would have to do this so soon :(

Just received my pump back today wanted to say "thank you" to Roger for the fast service and ask another question...I hear people talking about an "alarm" sounding when a pump quits yet mine made no such noise, should it have sounded an alarm.

6000 and 6100 had an alarm. The 6101 has no alarm, if the pump is jammed it shuts off instead of sounding an alarm.
