Help with 9010

RBU1

Moving on Up
Hi Roger,

I have had the skimmer running now for 3 weeks. I really do not get that much skimmate at all. Barely enough to cove the bottom of the collection cup in one week. I keep adjusting the blue screw 1/4 turn but I am to the point the screw is almost completly out. Is there anything else I can do?

I also have the same problems with the 9010. Makes very dry, darrk foam but very small amount of liquid. Same as RBU1, barely enough to poor out after a week. Doesn't seem to matter were the adjustment screw is.

There are a few possible causes which I had already walked through with RBU1.

Please check the following;

Make sure water exits the pipe and the hole in the back.

Make sure the impeller housing is not broken, pictures to follow.

Check the fit of the airline nipple in the venturi, it should plug in to the venturi tight enough that you can lift the pump by it.

This one is broken, note that the barrel comes off with the venturi nozzle-

This is the correct way it should come apart.
