Help with AC3 web page problem

Looking for some help from Neptune or fellow users to solve a web page problem on a friends AC3 unit. The basic problem is that the main web page will not load. - "This page cannot be displayed" is encountered instead.

Setup and related information:
-Firmware 3.40S - 6B09
-Unit passes self test successfully and returns code #7279 (from memory, so I think that was the result code).
-Using fixed IP of 192.168.1.50
-Verified user name and password (admin/1234)
-Using IE8
-Yahoo widget is working correctly
-Two different computers were used and had the same result.
-The computers correctly connect to my system and displays all web pages successfully.
-IE cache and cookies have been cleared.

Main page (problem):
-Navigating to 192.168.1.50:80 produces user/pw prompt pop-up box
-Enter the name/pw = "This page cannot be displayed" message!

Status page (loads, without title or menus):
-Navigating to 192.168.1.50:80/cgi-bin/status.cgi prompts for password twice
-User name/pw entered.
-The status page (only) loads correctly in the window.

Data log page (loads, without title or menus):
-Navigating to 192.168.1.50:80/cgi-bin/datalog.cgi prompts for password twice
-User name/pw entered.
-The full data log loads correctly in the window.

What is wrong with the main page where the title, left hand menu bar, and main area showing the selected screen is? Is it corrupt? Is there a way to correct / fix it? The update webpage routine was already run when the firmware was upgraded (*disclaimer - it could have been run more than once).

Help... :)
Ryan.

I would try re-uploading the web pages and see if that fixes the issue.

Re: Help with AC3 web page problem

Download a fresh copy of the firmware archive then go with Kenargo's suggestion to update the web pages.

Okay - will have him download a new copy, run the web page updater, and we will see how the webpages work after that. Be back soon ;)

Re-updating the web pages through the AC3 uploader worked perfectly - all web pages are repaired and fully functional! A fresh copy of the 3.4 firmware release files was downloaded and used. Thank you kenargo, RussM, and ciphros!
