help with new mh bulb

hi all i need a little help. i m setting up a 75 gal mix reef . and already have a 250w magnetic ballast in it. what would be the best bulb to get that is a little blue. i do not have actinic supplement but still want good color. thx

This is going to end up to what you end up preferring.

The 2 posters above me suggested 14K, where I prefer a 20K bulb.

However, I would suggest starting with a 14K, just to be safe. You might love it, or you may want a bit more blue, but I doubt that you will end up hating it.

Are you going to be using DE or SE bulbs?
 
If the bulbs are double ended(DE) the Phoenix14k gets recommended alot. It's rated at 14k but looks close to a 20k. Has high PAR ratings and flouresces corals well.
