Help with plate coral

I have had this plate in a mixed reef tank for almost 2 years now. Over the past 6 monts, it appears to be slowing dieing off in parts. However, at night with no lights on the flesh will swell up, it appears in a good way. But when the lights are active it stays in this state (see pic). It's mouth is not active enough to take anything meaty. I am running VHO compact lighting, with a reefbrite LED bar as supplement. Everything else in the tank seems to be doing fine (see 2nd pic). Tank is a 120 gallon IFS. Any thoughts? I don't do any additives, besides purple up once a week. I use Tropic Marine salt mix.

Do you have any fire worms in your tank? If so, they may be causing the issue. Hard to say exactly why things die sometimes. Otherwise there may be some coral to coral chemical warfare going on.
