I cant get a good pic of the fish up close because of the digital camera i have isnt all that great but it looks like very fine grains of sand, i have sugar sized sand bed, its on one side of the body section of my black saddleback clowns. None of my other fish have any signs of it, and i bought the saddleback as a mated paid, the male looks fine. It also moves around as she swims so im wondering if maybe its just sand stuck on her slimy protective coat?

Get a pic.
It could just be that he might have rubbed himself in the sand a bit (which is the most likely).

By the way, don't be scared of treating the fish. Do everything you can.
When I first started out I lost 5 fish to ich because I was scared the treatment was going to hurt them and stress them even more.

But then again, don't treat them when you don't need too.

Thats the problem, i dont want to treat if i dont have too, its only the saddleback clowns that show it, but it looks like sand to me. They still eat like champions, dont act weird and dont scratch on the rocks or anything. But i dont want to wait too long and lose my mated pair of clowns.

i agree without a pic. it is very hard to tell.

on the downside, if it is ich then all of your fish have it regardless if you see it or not and you will have to treat all of them.

If it's just sand, I don't believe it should be there more than 12 hours. They should be able to shake it off. Check tomorrow. If it's still there, then it likely is not sand.

if the fish behavior is fine and the spots do not spread any further, the fish will most likely fight off any stress parasites. If its sand, it definitely should be easy to distinguish vs sand grains within hours

Will he spots of ich stay in the same spot? Because this afternoon its in different sports and looks like its on the top coat of the fish, but its more than it was last night. i took pictures but you cant see a thing on the fish in the pics, (digital camera is not as nice as some others on here) Still no other fish has any signs so im starting to be very confused here. I dont want to treat if i dont need to due to the medicine i have calls for me to remove my inverts and live rock.

I would still keep an eye on them as again if it is ich part of their cycle will be to fall off the fish then come back even stronger.

hope it was just sand though. good luck.
