Help with RBTA

I am having trouble with my RBTA, it all started after I got my new LED lighting. Most of the day it is closed, when it does open up it is much smaller, the arms are much thinner and some look like they are missing or cut off. I feed it silversides and crab. Any ideas?

Did you acclimate the RBTA to your new LEDs? LEDs seem to penetrate the water much easier than any other lighting. Silversides aren't exactly the best food for nems IMO. When you do your feeding, try it with a little chunk of thawed mysis. You could also try getting some raw shrimp from a local grocery and cut it into small pieces.

Are all of your water parameters OK?

Yeah,need some more info.
RBTAs will move if they're not happy with the light.
Down or up........even sideways and in places you don't want them.

You might want to get some window screen from Lowe's and put a couple layers over the tank to shield the anemone from some of the light. If it looks better once the whites are turned off, I would assume it's because of what I stated earlier. The lights might be a little strong compared to what it is used to.

I had the whites at 60% power and I have over the past couple days lowered them to 40% so I'm hoping that is all it is I guess I just need to wait and see.
