Help with SPS Needed!

My tank has been up for a year and I never had much success with coral growth. I realize that my lighting was insufficient and upgraded last week to a Reefbreeders Photon 2 which I'm very happy with. I've in the ramp up phase but running the power at 50% for a good 8 hours of the day. I've attached two pics of what I would call sick SPS frags that have been with me for a couple months and clearly did not perform with my previous lights. One is green slimer, that has turned brown. The other I'd like an identification (the one behind the clown) on as it was given to me by a friend.

My question is, are these two far gone? Could my stronger lighting bring them back or should I get rid of them and start over?

Thanks!

the pics are not very clear but it looks like both corals are still alive and bleached possibly because of light shock. lighting is important but so are flow, good and stable water parameters, and temperature etc. if you could fulfil their needs, they'd definitely come around. you don't need to get rid of them. good luck.

We are going to need waaaay more info and better shots.. But more importantly a breakdown of your system, it's parameters and all of your husbandry practices..
