Help with typhoon III RODI

I have typhoon III RODI. I just finished letting the DI bypass and Fast Flush run through with wat er for 10 minute. How next set of instruction says close those and open Product water valve. I did that and for some reason the area near fast flush is still expelling water. Am I doin this right? I thought water was suppose to come out the DI side.

but are you talking about the "waste water"???

forgive me if you already know. but tww water streams come out of an ro/di filter.

1. the ro/di water

Ok well the instructions says,
" On a brand new unit open the FF(Fast Flush) and the DI bypass for 10 minutes and waste water. Then close DI Bypass and FF and open product valve." While I waited the 10 minutes I noticed water dripped out of something labeled "To Drain." WHen i closed both fast flush and DI bypass, isnt it suppose to stop expelling water out from there and only where the product water comes out.
On the good side my orignal water was 200-250ppm and after running it through the typhoon III it is now 0ppm. Now i just need to figure out how to fix the expelling water problem.

you will git water from the di that is good and waste water that goes to the drain

Oh, ok thank you for clearing it up and the reply. I didnt expect the so much waste water to come out. I guess I'll use to water the grass or soemthing.

oh yeah it will loose a lot of water, some people capture it and use it for other things
ours is in our laundry room and I do sometimes fill the washer with it
when I remember
