A friend of mine has these weird looking snail/slug/ type insects all over his zoos and underside of rock work. The have a tiny shell, but dont have antenas. I notice a little deadspot on one of his zoo colonies and I saw one just crawlin in there.

I saw pictures of the zoo eating nudis but they arent those.

What other bad parasites are there that eat zoos? can anyone provide some pics so I can identify this parasite?

I also noticed some white cacoons under the rock work?

Anyone know if these are ok? Just seemed odd for it to be all over the zoo like that.

thanks

Sam

Cant be a sponge its groing upside down as if away from light with an opening.

I took pics but my friend has them on his digi.

Snails may just be baby stomatellas. hard to see their antenna when they are small. Stomatella are great to have.

Yes they are stomatellas. Never seen anything like them. Those arent buyable at the store are they? They just form inside the tanks?

Phewww!

Generally they are hitchikers on coral. A couple probably came in with a coral you got and they are just multiplying.

No, I dont see them listed f/s very often.

Great addition to the reef. :)
