help :-(

hyposal. to point where its lower than 1.024, easier for fish to breath, not to treat ick. I figure less stress if they are is less salt.

Bill - Daddy doesn't want to deal with live rock, i'm not sure why, but he just wants basic basic FO.

And ohhh gotcha. I'll probably keep it where I have it now, only because that's what my purple tang is used to and he's king of the tank. Over time I think i'll gradually lower it a little bit but uhmm i've always been a fan of higher salinitys actually. lol.

Liana,

Drag your Dad to the next meeting ;) Going FOWLR doesn't really require any "dealing" with the LR, it's just there helping filter and stabilizing the tank :)

You know my vote :D

FOWLR, I've done it both ways and FOWLR is far and away better and easier ;)

Keep your live rock. If for nothing else, for the filtering ability.

hah you can bring some to the "tank turnaround" party if you'd like =P

one more vote goes to FOWLR (Brad's, talked to him last night)

well...why do you think that?

my dad doesn't want to get rid of it, he just wants it to be less expensive...he's into the hobby as well, just not to the extent that i am

Keep it. Tell your dad I'll help him and didn't Ray sell his soul to you and is bound by a lifetime of Aquarium Servitude?

i think it started with when my RO/DI unit was like on backorder and we visited weekly to pick up 5 gallon buckets of water... that's basically when we bought his soul ;-) right ray? :lmao:
