I know this is the lps forum but i cant bear the pain anymore... yesterday i accidently grabbed a large bristle worm and all of his spines went int my hand it has swelled up and kills!!!!!!!!!!!!!! does any1 know how to get the spines out

I think you just have to pull them out with tweezers. i also herd you can dip your hand in alcohal or vinigar to help the pain.

man that sucks! I feel for you!

If you can't get the tweezers to work......I used to use superglue to pull out the little cactus fibers.....I guess that's kinda the same.....anyway, I just put it on and let it dry....then peel off the "scab" of glue off and the little prickys get pulled out with it.

I'm not sure about fire worms.....but it works good on cactus and assorted splinters.

.....just as an after thought....maybe you are allergic......the Doc's got pain pills too!
