Here I come!!! Help Me, Please?

1655 from the return + 2428 from the closed loop = 4083. That is 18.5 times flow. Plus... if the penductors can triple or quadruple the 1655 portion of the figure... that will put me at 9000 gph which is exactly what you just said. I'm not confused any more.

DOH!!!

I started the new stand this weekend. I missed a litlle football Sunday.

Thank you and... Joey... I knew if this thread went long enough, you'ld get a dig in about the Hawks.

Sorry, but you brought it up first... :D We'll get back on topic now and I spare you the pic of our SB ring with all the diamonds (cause that's what friends do).

I would use 3/4" marine grade, but that stand is so well built, you probably would be fine with the 5/8".

I can't aford to redo it so, where do I get marine grade? Somewhere with out having to ride a big green state owned boat.

Just check with your local wood supplier or hardware store and find outdoor grade. Dunn Lumber and Stewart Lumber probably have a decent grade of plywood...Marine grade is available at certain places but it may not be worth hunting it own. I coated mine with West System Epoxy resin, and I would recommend you do something lke that to preserve the wood. In all reality, salt water is not bad for wood, and will penetrate and preserve it somewhat itself.

Hey, I am going to Barrier Reef mid-morning next Wednesday, are you for meeting? Also going to the PSAS frag swap. It would be nice to meet and talk reefs! :D
