I'd rather have cyano then hair algae
That was my worst experience with my tank ever.. Endless water changes, and handpulling that stuff out for weeks on end.

I figured if the coral feeds on fish poop and grows then dropping a couple deuces plus good flow and lighting would turn my frags to colonies in no time flat! Was that wrong Richard?i think you got raw sewage instead. good series you guys killed us.
Definitely, I'm glad I don't have either of those in my tank any more. Dino's were the worst headache ive ever hadId rather have cyano and hair alage than Dino's.

Honestly the best my tank has looked in years.
Looks good, how often do you change your water?
Looks good Schnitz. I've done it in the past and my only complaint was dealing with the skimmer after the treatment but otherwise it worked well.
The photos don't do it justice, the tank actually looks much better in person.
Looks like it didnt work lol

Looks great! So , aside from slightly underdosing , was everything else according to directions / schedule? I'm thinking I'm gonna take a run at mine in about a week. Been putting it off ,out of (probably) irrational fear of "˜the cure being worse than the disease' .

Just to update this thread, I haven't seen any cyano since dosing. I'm keeping my fingers crossed I won't have to dose it frequently.
Tank is doing amazing right now. Since the cyano is gone I am feeding heavier and the corals are loving it.
That event horizon is killing it.
