Hermit Crab Shell has weird tentacles

I have a little hermit crab and at the pointy end of its shell, there are two (and only two) very long orange tentacles or arm things swinging in the breeze picking up stuff. I watched it pick up a chunk of purple sponge that was tumbling around. I tried to get a picture, but its just too small for an iPhone or iPad to capture. Google wasn't much help either.

Any ideas what it could be or should I be worried?

Could be a spionid worm. Without a picture it's just a guess.

Googled spinoid. Looks accurate. What should I do about getting it out of there? Wait for the crab to swap shells?

Wait for the crab to swap shells.. and enjoy the harmless hitchhiker from the old shell.
