Hey DPS - here's your doctorfish

Very cool fish! They don't get there true adult colors until a bit bigger. They get almost all blue, pretty cool looking, and only max out at 12" in the wild so they can be kept in most tanks! The biggest difference in that one and the one I should have gotten is its twice as big and about 8 times more as expensive :)

Here's a full grown adult that is gorgeous!

Are you getting the DD fish? Seems like an okay price and it will get to you in decent health. Probably will adapt better than an adult too.
 
Very underrated fish IMO, one of my favorite Tangs and I would love to have one....Unfortunately so would my Sohal, to beat to death that is.:mad:

HAHAHA! So true, atleast for us FO guys.

tm, great buy! It will go great in your tank! I may pick up a juvi from my LFS. Love watching fish grow and change.
 
You'll enjoy watching that queen angel grow then. It will take years for it to grow from the stage that yours is in. I got mine about the size of yours DPS and have had it over 2 years now and it still isn't even 4" yet. I remember how hard it was to get mine to eat. It took about 7-8 days for it to even take mysis. So try not to worry too much.
 
I like the doctorfish better than the ABT, hope it does great for you. I like your tank set-up.
 
I seen that. I am contemplating buying that Dussimer. Awful small for the $ though. I'm counting on pics when you get it tomorrow.
 
The Dussimer is very nice looking...I din't think they come cheap...the ABT is very bright blue (and $$)
 
I am very tempted on that harlequin tusk!

If you want caribbean fish, I know of a place for cheap ones, that ABT is absurd price! DD must make a killing!
 
DPS..A few weeks ago the Hidden Reef had an ABT about that size for a similar price...but didn't look nearly as healthy (the ABT is gone from Divers Den already)....

ronhjr....also THR got in a nice sized shipment of Carib fish yesterday ..they had about 4 full sized Rock Beauties , around 10 royal grammas, 2 nice sized blueheaded wrasse , a nice school of Blue Reef Chromis and a few juvi Queens
