I rarely shoot birds ever (we should start a Landscape thread so me and beerguy can post some pics ) but the rare times I actually felt like shooting birds, I got lucky. Here's my contribution..

Sweet shots XTM!! Love the Jay with the grape. I typically don't care for whitewashed backgrounds but in this case I do. The light passing thru the grape is just cool!

Jesse. What is that? Eastern King?

Couldn't tell. It was about 40 feet up in the top of a tree.

That looks like it. They are a bit bluish in appearance.

Hey, I can actually play for once! Well, only because I was messing around with some shots from a month or so ago. I was cleaning up the gear one day and this guy landed. Was not paying attention to my settings at all and blew the exposures but overall they are slight improvements for my BYB's...and any improvement is a good step forward! Gear was Nikon D7000 + 300/4 AFS.
