do you the official megaflow pipes? I used homemade dursos but the concept is the same. Theres a hole or should be a hole on the top of the tube that overflowed water gets sent to your sump through. If your surging, chances are that hole is plugged partially or otherwise or just isnt big enough. On homemade dursos you start at like 1/16 an inch and increase the size till it not only doesnt surge but is also very quiet. Thats just my opinion, i could be wrong.

btw-- demonsp... i read some posts of yours in a koralia discussion and wanted to ask you about your experience and advice with pinpointing problem flow areas and my solutions, but you dont allow PM's... and i dotn want to hi-jack his thread either...
