Forgot about this guy until I found it on my desktop in a To Be Edited folder.

Could have been better but still good (mushroom got in the way).

Taken with my A620 without an add on lens (haven't really used my Raynox Lens alot):

LOL-2nd person who's mentioned that.

For scale-the substrate particles are sugar and slightly larger sized granules.

But I am thinking of picking up some king crab legs. Esp. if this makes it into the Masna calendar (no chance with the talent around here but it's still a great shot for me ).

I'm not sure of all the functions on your camera, but you'd be able to get more detail and depth of field out of the photo if you shot with a higher F number for your aperture setting. That way more of the crab will be in focus.

Yep-A620 so I could have adjusted it but by the time I got to this guy I was tired of tweaking it for every shot.

Unfortunately the camera was stolen from my g/f's condo a couple months ago. Waiting on insurance sucks.
