Hi,

Just wondering if I'm in the right spot or if you could kindly direct me to the appropriate forum or independent reef club website. I'm moving from AZ to Morgan Hill, CA in April and I'm looking for a club to join. Thank you.

And pay no attention to my avatar it's an inside joke I hang out in the lounge. Nuff said. So please don't direct me to the SF forum Thx lol

The big club in the bay area is 'Bay Area Reefers'. Check out their website at:
http://www.bareefers.org
The March meeting is this Saturday. The featured speaker is Bob Fenner, author of 'The Conscientious Marine Aquarist'

There is also Wine Country Reefers (this section of Reef Central). I don't know much about them. I'm going to my first meeting Sunday!

And (possibly) last is MARS, Marine Aquarist Roundtable of Sacramento. They have a thread here and their website is:
http://www.marineaquarist.org/

I'm sure you will enjoy all of them. And since gas is so cheap out here, you will have no problem getting to them all. :)

Welcome to northern Cali! Geographically, BAR might be a better fit for you, but you're welcome up here in the north bay as well.

Do you have any corals which are as, ah, dramatic and good looking, as your avatar? ;)

Ken I think you HAVE been spending a bit too much time in the city..................:worried::worried:

Thank you for the links, I'll check those out. Speaking of gas. The new job comes with a company car, so I'm not too worried.

Thank you, I can't wait to be out there. I visit the bay area about 20 times a year, im pretty familiar with the area. I have have family in san fran, santa cruz and most are in aptos.

As far as corals go, yes I do. I'm collecting some new stuff before I leave as well. I'm an SPS junkie and a hardcore zoa addict. I sold my whole system off and kept frags of my nicest pieces.
