hiding peppermint shrimp?

is it common for these guys to hide all the time i got 2 small ones yesterday and havent really seen them since they ran into some big rockwork and they were gone.....

They usually stay hidden until its feeding time. If you look carefully in your rockwork, you may be able to spot them perched upside down.

Yep completely normal... Once they settle in they may move to a spot where they can watch you.
