Hiding Rose Bubble

I have a new RBTA that has been hiding under a ledge and in a cave for most of the time. He came out for a bit but now just hangs out under there. He moves a little and inflates and deflates some but I want to coerce him to come out knowing that sooner or later his zoo will need some light - not to mention I want to look at the darned thing.
I know not to manually pull him out or that may make it worse.
Ideas?

They will "walk" around until they find where they want to be. If the water isn't to their liking, they will hide more, so... What are your tank's parameters? With numbers please.

IME, there's no way around letting it do it own thing naturally when it comes to going to the light. I had a BTA years ago that got huge, around 11-12" and that bad boy was obnoxious when it first got introduced to my tank. It did not like the MH at all. It took a good month or more to get settled in and come out fully into the light, even at that it never came off the bottom 2" of the tank. They all have their preferences I guess. That one seemed to spit out a good amount of zooanthellae initially, I'm guessing that was part of the regulation stage.

I forgot to grab my specs but here are some pics. He moved and came up behind this other coral - cannot recall the name of this one it's an open brain? Maybe someone can id that as well. I moved the brain but he came up which is good. Unfortunately my peppermint shrimp are stealing the scallops I feed the nem. Going to have to try another plan tonight.

You can just see a part of him sticking out here.

This is the front of the cave where he was - he was back in there a bit and just popped up the back side.
