A few excuses:
I had a heater malfunction that browned out/killed alot of corals. I also lost some corals to excessive photo period when I went BB. I still need to paint the back!

what lighting are you using that your able to have that Mont. Cap.
on the bottom?

did you get a controller for those heaters?

xm 250w 10k's only on for 4 hours per day under the center brace with a piece of plexi on it. If I bump it to 5 hours it bleaches. I feel like I could keep that coral in the dark. :) In the 125 DSB was was on the bottom but with a 8 hour photo period, do figure.

The controller was the issue, the old tank was 12" from the new one. When I built the stand I yanked out the probe.

ouch!

i've heard this alot lately with BB's

with only 4 hours do your other corals get enough light too?

what do you mean by " 4 hours a day under the center brace"?

I have a 180 that has had this fish
list in it for over three years. Some
of the fish I have had over five years.
Just running a refugium no skimmer
or anything else. 15 to 20 gallon water
changes every three to four months.
I have a mixed reef with acroporas and
other sps, lps, leathers and clams,
corals are all doing great.

1 six line wrasse
