***!!Hippo tang aggressive towards bellus angel

So got a baby bellus angel from LADD today along with a skunk and a purple tile, acclimated and into my 150 gallon tank, my 6 inch yellow belly hippo tang is being ultra aggressive towards the baby bellus, not the other 2 fish that I introduced , nipped off a little bit off the bellus tail, I turned off the lights and fed the tank but she still is running and nippingatd the bellus ***!!!!!

Post pics of belus angels on the outside facing in. The tang will either chill out or take aggression out on the pics instead of the fish and leave your new fish alone. It is worth a try. Or post pics of bigger ybbts so he doesn't feel like he is the boss anymore.

I've had a similar problem with my hippo and my lamarck's although they are just about the same size, every few days they decide they don't like each other. There is some chasing and then they settle down again. I have no idea why. Maybe the hippo thinks the angel is a tang?

sounds like a typical territorial dispute, it will pass. Your regal will eventually outgrow your 150g so it may start again in time.

Blue tang is the most aggressive tang IME
I had a 8" one that kill an 6" queen angel

Its worst than any of Achilles, clown tang or purple tang IME.
I will never put one again in my tank.
