hippo tang aint feeding

I woke up awhile ago and fed my fish. all were fine except for my hippo tang. he wont feed. yesterday he was feeding well but went to sleep early. i saw a couple of ich spots. but that shouldnt be a problem right? oh well. i have him for a year already. other fishes are fine. what can i do guys?

Try some food soaked in garlic or some garlic!

that is a problem imo...
your tank has ich if its been in there for a year..
not eating is a major sign.

what should i do? im scared coz if i transfer it to QT, i might stress him out. WC would do any good?

water change will not rid the ich.

you will have to treat all your fish for ich now and leave the main tank fishless for 6-8 weeks.

I suggest using the hypo method when treating the ich.

they are tankmates of my sharks.. :/ i mean WC would lessen the stress? i have no plans of adding fish in the future. I know I should set up a HT. But my goal right now is to get my 1 year old hippo to eat.

Well depending how big the sharks are, he might just be getting stressed from being in constant contact with a predator and high stress can cause fish to decide not to eat. Also get ich and other diseases.

he's with the big guys for a year already. and my bad boys aint bothering him. he showed a little interest in my pellets again today.

YES! My blue tang was feeding already when I got home from school! Im so happy guys! I didnt want him to go to heaven for his my favorite fish ever since I was a kid!

congrats on having him eat. but you still need to rid the tank of ich.
