hippo tang

Hello,
I three days ago I purchased a hippo tang and noticed it has a pimple looking thing on its side, today I also noticed a purple dot next to the pimple. It is way bigger than ick dots but smaller than pencil eraser? The fish seems to be doing fine otherwise and eating well.
Any help would be appreciated.
