Hitch hiker ID

[The Grim Reefer]

Got this unknown brain coral and noticed a cool little hiker on the rock. Sorry I couldn't get better pics.

The coral is hard and the eyes are powder blue and dont seem to be recessed like a favia would be. The color of orange is slightly different than the brain it's under.

Better shot of the brain. The small heads in front are a little over an inch across,

Yeah, might have to take a Dremel to the rock which I've never done before. Thought maybe it was some kind of sponge when I first saw it but figure it's odd enough if someone has ever seen it before even the crappy pictures would be enough for them to ID it. Here's to hoping.

Oh bloody elll!!!! I put the lens on with the macro switch but didn't change the setting on the camera

Well I still don't know..but I am pretty sure you should get an id now..really kinda nice..think I would seperate the two if it were mine.

personally if the rock isn't too thick I prefer a chisel to a saw..but that is just me I seem to have a lot more control that way..

Yeah, chisel might be better but I am not sure there is room, might just let them go and see what happens.
