Hitchhicker Crab, What is it?

Finely caught this guy. Hes been in my tank for quite a while, but he's gettin pretty big. His size made me nervous so I decided to get him out. Any one know what he is?

Hard to tell what he is. Looks like an emerald, but the color is not right. Get some pictures of his claws. That would help out a lot.

I tried getting some of his claws but he would just not have it. They do look just like an emerald crabs though. Heres a pic of his last molt.

I still wouldn't trust him. His color is off for an emerald crab and his claws are very dark. I would banish him to the sump if you have one. If you don't have a sump you could offer him up for adoption here or take him to the lfs in on trade.

I stuck him down stairs in my fuge. Its 20 gallon so he should be more then happy

Gorilla crab. Will eat fish and/or SPS.
