I recently noticed some bumps on the "cheek" of my hippo tang. There are no other spots on his body, just about 5 on one side of his face. On the opposite side of his body, there is a small patch (1/2" or so) along his lateral line that looks "worn". Here are some pictures:
Are these the beginnings of HLLE? Are they ich? Or something else?
I am kind of leaning away from ich, as they are nowhere else on the body and are larger than the typical "grains of salt" description, not to mention the fact that they happen to be in a "line". What are your thoughts?
