I still get some DOC's on the surface. My HOB filter keeps most of the surface agitated, but there is one area near the back left corner that sometimes gets a bit of a film. A paper towel run across the area picks up the film.

I also have an HOB tank. As usual during my late night rock moving antics go, I fragged two of my caulestreas by accident.This picture is probably at least 6 to 8 months old. I've moved things around and the RBTA has split.

How does everyone deal with surface scum?
Here's my 39 gallon bowfront with an HOB Emperor 400. That toadstool is about 12 years old. As you can see, he got quite a haircut.
