Holiday Party meeting recap.

I want to thank you all for coming out and bringing the families. There was far more people than i expected. Thank you for buying the raffle tickets and supporting the club.

We had $480 for the club this morning and now it is up to $1318. :bounce1: This money will go to bring in speakers like Tony Vargas in February and help pay for club expenses.

Now that we have a formal club board let's give congrats to our winners.
President: Frick (Me)
Vice President: Aquainus (Shane)
Treasurer: Weyrman (Roy)
Club Secretary: Pescado Racing (Greg)
Corresponding Secratary: CoralReefDoc (Joshua)

This new board will help make the decisions for the club so it is no longer just my choice. This election will be annual for now on. But you don't have to be a board member to help out. If you are willing to help in anyway let us know. AZ FRAG is a all of us and the more we have people involved the better this club will get.

I also want to thank our sponsors that got us the goods. Thank you David at Kessil for the A150W. Thank you to James and Dave at Aquatic life for the LED fixture and shirts. Thank You to Amanda at Seachem for the additives. Thank you to Shane for the SpectraPure unit and media. Thank you to Bob for the Reef Stew ad tshirts. I also want to thank zibba for taking some photos of the event. This will help make our web site purdy, and get us better loot for our raffles.

I would like to make a suggestion for our meetings - go around the room and everyone introduce themselves with their name and forum name(s). This will make it easier for everyone to not only find someone, but for a whose who.
I know some, including myself, had problems finding people for reserved frags.

Besides, its nice for people to know that I am not the person in my avatar...:facepalm:

Yes i might start calling out new faces at meeting for now on. Good suggestion. Also i am going to get name tags going again. They will be $2.00. So if you will like one PM me. i will get them going by January.

Zibba, you did an awesome job. It's things like this that will make this reef club great for everyone.

We are just getting started. I couldn't of done this with out every ones help. Thanks you Shane for helping me out especially with the raffles tickets and coordinating everything. Thank you again Zibba for the pics. And thank you bob for the donation. I always prefer our raffle stuff to be local.

Another great frag event! I want to thank everyone who put in time and effort to make this holiday extravaganza happen! My wife and I had a great time and walked away with some amazing raffle prizes. We won a gallon of reef stew and a spectra pure rodi filtration system! Here is a picture of our new system:
