.... for me, at least. Was at my LFS tonight and I may have scored a magenta based/green tentacle Magnifica. I say 'may' because they had it listed as a bubble tip and it didn't look entirely Magnifica-like, so we'll see. Cautiously optimistic and I will post a picture when the lights come on in the morning.

I figure we either end up with a really nice mag; or the most outrageously colored bubble tip I've ever seen . Pretty much a win-win.

I am sorry to say this but I think it is wishful thinking on your part. That is a definitely a BTA, IMO

Agreed! Mine is definitely a BTA.

Have been looking for a nice replacement for my current mag (because it has gotten HUGE and has no interest, apparently, in splitting) so the search continues .....

It's a lovely BTA... the green ones with purple bases have always been a favorite of mine.

They also tend to be the ones commonly misidentified as mags by hobbiests.

It is a very nice BTA. The problem with the BTAs is that they usually stick that pretty purple base in a crevice and you rarely see it.
