So, I heard from my local rare find dealer that he had some gems.
Heres the absolutely terrible video of them:

That would be FOUR Odontanthias fuscipinnis! SO tempting. Relativbely cheap too!

4 would be an incredible addition to a reef! But I would be too scared to add them w/ my other anthias....

I do know one person who could add a few MORE fuscipinnis to an already incredible collection of fish!

As do I! I just felt blessed to see four together. They, of course, were out swimming until I got the camero out. Note the tiny, just over 1" juvi blueline.

It was probably the exhaust noise that scared them. My fish dont like loud noises either.

What? That fan is running all the time. They just got spooked because I walked in front of the tank closely. What does the year quip mean?

He had them at 70, I believe. The tank was actually a lobster holding tank. Pretty nice, actually.

Oops!! I misspoke and misunderstood the dealer. The fish are 1200 each. He called me and reminded me of our conversation, and I completely misspoke in this thread. We discussed some other fish at 900. My bad. Still a steal and still blessed to see them.

How deep are these typically found? Do they adapt as well as the Borb. Anthias do to captivity???
