Home Depot 5 gallon buckets ok to store water?

Does anyone know if the orange Home Depot buckets are ok to store RO/DI water for top-off water? I made sure the large 35 gallon containers I bought for mixing saltwater are food-grade containers, but didn't think about the 5 gallon buckets I bought.
I have one 5 gallon bucket filled with water for top-off. If it's not ok to use those orange buckets, should I throw it out or use it this one time?

Use Menard's buckets....same thing. Killed me that I had to buy buckets!

The orange buckets are not food grade, have no idea if they leech out any chemicals however... IMO I would stick with the white food grade buckets (salt buckets are food grade btw)

Me 4, but im worried about the metal handles. Im going to target and going to buy a new plastic trash can, maybe 20g. Its going to be alot easier than filling 4 buckets with water. Probably same price. Dont forget to cover them:>
